The City of New Westminster is pleased to announce that construction is almost complete on the second Urban Solar Garden at City’s Public Work Yard. By the end of May, installation crews will be completing the final system commissioning and electrical grid tie-in for the 50 kW array. This new array is the second community-led renewable energy project in the City of New Westminster following the first Urban Solar Garden that was completed at Queensborough Community Centre in June 2018.
