Energy Save New West is excited to announce the release of three new resources: Central Ducted InfoSheet, Ductless Heat Pump infosheet, as well as Homeowner Heat Pump Checklist!

To support local residents with heat pump upgrades, we have introduced new infosheets to assist with selecting the right-sized equipment and making informed decisions to achieve a quality heat pump installation.

The two new infosheets on Central Ducted and Ductless Heat Pumps are designed to summarize key considerations that homeowners need to be aware of before selecting and installing a central or ductless heat pump. These considerations include but are not limited to: installation costs, equipment sizing, existing ductwork, electrical panel/service capacity, and indoor/outdoor unit location. The infosheets also provide useful links for rebates and incentives.

The Homeowner Heat Pump Checklist introduces a step-by-step list of considerations for different stages of a heat pump installation. This will help homeowners ensure they address all important factors to achieve a quality heat pump installation when working with an HVAC contractor.

The Infosheet is currently available only in English, but we plan to publish multi-language versions to support our diverse communities and enhance access to various services.  We also aim to release additional infosheets later in the year on various energy efficiency topics, so please stay tuned to ESNW for updates on upcoming publications.
